Great read! This book combines 1984-style futuristic concepts with The Firm-like suspense and paranoia. The author smoothly weaved together seemingly simple lives into a "can't put it down" quality novel. What's next T.L. Blakely?!
Kind of a "Ready Player One" of our justice system. With technology advancing so quickly this is not far fetched. A very good read. Will try his other books also.
Like with any new (to me) author's writing, this took me a couple of chapters to settle in and get comfortable with the style and cadence. Once settled in, I really enjoyed it. This book leaves you with a lot to think about without being overly dense.
Not really my kind of reading, however it is interesting to consider what will our justice system look like in the future? Because of the author's experience he is able to bring that system to our level of understanding.
This read will propel you into the possible future of our court system. It's thought provoking and insightful! T.L. Blakely's writing is rich and witty.
This is an eye opening read. I can picture our courts becoming just like this! Futuristic.
Really enjoyed the new technology ideas. Our Judicial system is pretty messed up right now, perhaps this would be a better system.
I loved the connection between how data is used, our system of law and order and the impact big data has, or will have on our future. Being from technology and learning both the use of and how to fix it, and having been influenced by law in my life time, this is a rare and futuristic look at how these tools will affect how we view the procedures in our judicial system. I loved every minute of reading this! Tim has done Justicia justice in the application of all these ideas. I look forward to the further exploration of all of these ideas!
TL Blakely builds an amazing and complex labyrinth of potential outcomes in this gripping tale of a futuristic judicial system that could become, or is it already... This "go to" book holds you in suspense from Prologue to Epilogue. Brilliant and Insightful.
